About us

Sauti na Teknolojia (SautiTek) is a youth-led initiative that centers the voices and experiences of girls, children, and marginalized youth through intersectional, feminist, and creative approaches. By blending arts, technology, and advocacy, SautiTek empowers young people to tell their own stories, engage in critical dialogue, and lead social transformation in their communities. Research, Documentation and Digital Archiving

is a core program under Sauti na Teknolojia, dedicated to preserving and amplifying underrepresented voices particularly those of youth, women, and marginalized communities in Tanzania through intentional, feminist-informed knowledge-building practices. Rooted in feminist methodologies, this program centers lived experience, challenges dominant narratives, and values multiple ways of knowing.
